Residential Treatment For Teens

The medical and mental health professionals at our treatment center are committed to providing each teen patient with the quality care, support, and individualized treatment required for their recovery. Our inpatient residential programs offer evidence-based treatment, holistic therapies, and medication management based on individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of teen patients. Our treatment approach provides each teen their own personalized care plan that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Our team members strive to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment that allows teens to attain recovery. Teenage patients live in our comfortable facility for a short period, removed from substance use and daily stressors. During this time, the teens receive medical treatment for their drug addiction and alcoholism, as well as therapy sessions to improve their mental health. We recognize the importance of our patient’s well-being and have supportive staff available 24/7 for guidance and care.

Relapse is a real risk, even if you have support from a professional. Our treatment programs offer aftercare planning. These programs help reduce the risk of relapse by not repeating old habits and patterns and introducing new healthy strategies to face life’s challenges. Through a stable, safe, and supportive environment, our medical and mental health specialists help teens discover a positive pathway toward recovery.

Recognizing When Residential Treatment is Needed for Teens

Inpatient residential treatment is suggested for teens who struggle with active drug and alcohol addiction, especially when they are unable to quit from other efforts. Teens respond well to residential treatment because it allows them to form new identities around sobriety and recovery.

They are surrounded by other teenagers facing the same challenges and can forge friendships within their recovery community. If you suspect that your child may have an addiction to drugs or alcohol, ask their doctor if residential treatment is a suitable option for your child.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Our admissions counselors are standing by to answer any questions you may have. Here are some of the most common questions we receive:

What is a teen residential treatment center?

A teen residential treatment center allows teenage patients to stay in a facility for a set period of time away from daily stressors and addiction triggers. During this time, the teens receive medical treatment for their drug or alcohol addiction, as well as therapy to improve their mental health. Many patients find it easier to overcome addiction surrounded by other teens on a similar recovery journey.

When is teen residential treatment needed?

Residential treatment is recommended for teens with an active drug or alcohol addiction, particularly if other efforts to quit have failed. Teenagers respond remarkably well to residential treatment as it allows them to make new friends and forge new identities around sobriety and recovery. If you suspect your child has an addiction to drugs or alcohol, ask their doctor if residential treatment is right for your teen.

What can my teen expect in residential treatment?

We believe treating the whole person is the cornerstone of lasting treatment. Therefore, our patients can expect a schedule of activities, including therapy, schooling, life skills, art therapy, and individualized treatment.
