“My child finally, after four prior treatment centers, began to heal. The staff communicated every step of the way and kept me informed throughout.”
Substance use, isolation, emotional outbursts—it can feel like your teen is slipping further away, no matter how hard you try to hold on. It’s overwhelming, but residual treatment is more than an option – it’s the best next step.
Never Alone is a camp-like program for teens ages 12–17 struggling with substance use and mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, or trauma. It’s structured, creative, and grounded in real connection, without punishment or pressure. And while your teen gets the support they need, you’re part of the process every step of the way.
Teens don’t just use substances for fun. Often, it’s a way to cope with anxiety, trauma, or feeling disconnected. Residential treatment gives them a chance to reset in a safe, structured setting.
At Never Alone, we work with teens ages 12 to 17, most of whom are also dealing with:
In gender-specific housing, they receive daily support from staff who specialize in adolescent care. Our maximum capacity is 22 teens, which allows us to give every individual the attention, consistency, and connection they need to heal.
Each day follows a steady rhythm, giving teens structure without rigidity.
Every day, teens take part in individual and group therapy, spend time outside, and dive into activities like art, music, movement, or games. They eat meals together, keep their personal space tidy, and follow simple routines that help them feel grounded, not overwhelmed.
Falling behind in school is one of the biggest concerns for families. We get that. That’s why education is built into each teen’s daily schedule.
Whether your teen was thriving or struggling with school before treatment, we’ll help them stay on track.
The goal: recovery and readiness. Teens leave not just sober but ready to return to school and life.
Recovery doesn’t only happen in therapy sessions. Teens need space to move, explore, and connect with themselves in new ways.
With 32 forested acres to explore under staff supervision, our program blends clinical work with hands-on experiences that support emotional and physical health. Whether they’re painting, hiking, or making music with peers, these moments help teens feel like themselves again, without substances.
These experiences help teens feel good—physically, mentally, and emotionally—as they build new habits and a life they actually want to live.
You’ve likely felt shut out, scared, or unsure of how to help. We understand, and we don’t leave families on the outside.
You’ll get regular phone calls from your teen’s therapist, updates from the care team, and full access to weekly family therapy. We’ll keep you informed, supported, and involved—because when your teen heals, you do too.
This program is designed for teens—every part of it. With a maximum of just 22 teens in our care at any time, our team has the space to build meaningful, personal relationships with each adolescent and stay closely connected to every family.

Families come from all over the country for one reason: the care here works. Your teen isn’t just treated. They’re seen, supported, and given the tools to grow.
Ask yourself this: Have things gotten worse despite therapy, school meetings, or setting boundaries at home? Is your teen using substances regularly, shutting down emotionally, missing school, or lashing out? Are you walking on eggshells, unsure of what else to do?
If you’re here reading this, you already know something’s not working. Residential treatment is for when outpatient care isn’t enough and your teen needs daily support to turn things around.
That happens often. It doesn’t mean treatment won’t work—it just means your teen is scared, angry, or unsure what to expect. We’ve worked with hundreds of teens who resisted at first but opened up once they felt safe and understood.
Absolutely. You’re a key part of their healing. You’ll have weekly family therapy, plus regular one-on-one calls with your teen’s therapist to discuss progress and goals. Our care team will also provide updates as needed, especially around any major changes or milestones. You’ll never have to chase us for answers—we stay in touch.
There’s also a weekly virtual parent support group and in-person visits every Sunday. You’re not being pushed out—you’re being brought in, the right way.
They’ll have a structured schedule, not endless downtime. Mornings include school and individual therapy. Afternoons focus on group therapy, fitness, creative work, or outdoor time. Evenings wind down with reflection, routines, and community time.
They’ll also do chores, share meals, talk to staff, and interact with peers who are also working on recovery. The structure keeps them grounded, and the variety helps them stay engaged.
Before discharge, we work with you to build a realistic plan for what comes next. That includes outpatient therapy, academic support, school transition, and a relapse prevention plan tailored to your teen.
We also offer follow-up care that may include check-in calls, referrals to trusted providers, and help coordinating ongoing support in your home community. You won’t be sent home without a roadmap—or without us in your corner.
We don’t treat teens like problems to fix. We treat them like people—smart, struggling, sensitive people who need support that’s honest, structured, and human.
We’re located on 32 wooded acres in the Hudson Valley, so your teen isn’t confined to a building. They’ll be outdoors, moving, talking, expressing themselves, and starting to feel safe in their own skin again.
Everything here—our team, our daily schedule, our therapy—is built specifically for teens, not adapted from adult rehab.
You’ve tried what you can. If nothing else has helped, this may be the step that finally moves things forward.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. Reach out today to talk with someone who understands. We’ll help you decide if Never Alone is the right fit, and walk you through what happens next.
